Dr. James Evan Wilson is the head of Oncology at PPTH. He takes his job seriously and cares for his patients, probably more than he should. He has a penchant for the needy. His best friend, Dr. Gregory House, once accused him of being an emotional vampire, that he needs neediness. He is "secretly not as nice as he seems". He is thrice divorced and rumoured to be quite the ladies man. While there is a grain of truth to the rumour, he isn't the panty-peeler that House has made him out to be.

His most recent relationship was with Amber Volakis. She was unlike his former wives and girlfriends and he thought this time he had a chance, but a few months into the relationship she died of complications of injuries received in a bus accident and a medication she was taking. There was a rift in his friendship with House after because she was on the bus because of House. Although the rift has been patched, he is still deeply depressed, a condition he is not unfamiliar with, Amber's death being only the most recent trigger.

He has recently become reunited with an older brother who due to drugs and mental illness has spent many years untreated on the streets and is trying to help him get his life back in order. The recent suicide of a collegue has brought up feelings and memories he is having difficulty with but is more concerned about how his is affecting his friend House. He tries to pull himself out of his current rut by playing pranks on House, becoming involved as the doting uncle to Cuddy's baby daughter, playing raquetball with Taub and has gone back to therapy.

I do not own the character of Dr. James E. Wilson, I am simply borrowing him for a bit of fun. There, obligatory disclaimer out of the way. This is an rp character journal primarily for Dr. James E Wilson of the House MD universe and he is always up for playtime, just drop a line if you would like to rp. I also enjoy taking him for a spin in AU threads and occasionally, playing as RSL as well. RP threads in this journal will be kept private, accessible to only those involved. Slash or het is fine- preference for slash, but Wilson goes either way. Canon, original and non-House characters are welcomed. Play through IM is also welcomed, contact agentjameswilson on AIM.
